CM Omar chairs meet to review situation amid inclement weather | KNO

Srinagar, Sept 03 (KNO): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday chaired a meeting to review the situation arising from the incessant rains across Jammu and Kashmir. In a post on X, office of the Chief Minister, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), stated that he directed the administration to intensify ground response, ensure clearance of waterlogged areas, safeguard essential services, carry out timely evacuations in critical zones, and provide immediate relief. It stated that ministers Javed Rana and Satish Sharmajnk briefed on the situation in Jammu, while minister Sakina Itoo and advisor to the CM Nasir Sogami provided updates on the situation in Kashmir. The Chief Minister appealed to the people to follow advisories, avoid vulnerable spots, and stay safe—(KNO)
